APPROVALS

Unirex QualityUNIREX PURCHASE ORDER TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. QUALITY SYSTEM: At a minimum, a quality system that meets the requirements of MIL-I-45208A must be maintained for products ordered by Unirex. Quality systems based on ISO 9000, AS 9000, D 9000, NADCAP and others are desired but not manditory.
  2. RIGHT OF ACCESS: Unirex, our customers, and interested regulatory agencies reserve the right of access to verify the products ordered conform to applicable requirements.
  3. RECEIVING INSPECTION: All product received by Unirex is subject to inspection and test by our Quality Department.
  4. PACKAGING: Normally, commercial packaging is acceptable for shipment of product to Unirex, unless otherwise specified. Please select packaging methods which provide adequate protection at a minimum cost. Also, whenever possible, please mark the Unirex PO number on the outside of the shipping case(s).
  5. DEFINITIONS: Manufacturer’s Cert (Mfg Certs) A certificate of compliance statement issued by the original manufacturer stating in effect: “The products identified on this certificate conform to the requirements of applicable drawings and specifications”. The manufacturer’s cert should be signed by responsible quality or management personnel.

Please Note: Versions of FAA form 8130 are not considered a manufacturer’s cert by Unirex.

Test Report
A report of inspections and tests required by applicable drawings and specifications. Typical elements of the report would include the following (as applicable):

  • Material Composition (Alloy and elemental breakdown)
  • Finish
  • Strength levels (Shear, Tensile, Fatigue, etc)
  • NDT inspection
  • Heat treating (including Rockwell hardness when applicable)
  • Locking Torque readings
  • Other requirements specific to products ordered

The inspections and tests can be reported on company forms or by providing individual copies of processing certs.

QAP 1075 TEST REPORTS
An enhanced test report needed for the US Government. In addition to the requirements of a normal test report, a dimensional inspection report must be included.
